Mineral insulated thermocouples

Thermocouple sensors made from the electrodes placed in the insulating layer of metal oxide and in elastic, metal sheath, e.g., making bending possible.

The sensor is designed for measuring temperature in technological processes in different branches of industry. Version II – additional replaceable sheath. Such additional protection of a sensor allows it to be used in particularly aggressive environment, e.g., of molten aluminium alloys. When damaged, the sheath can be replaced, which results in significant elongation of the sensor life time.
